Answer if your baby didn't "drop"?
I am overdue. I did everything that "supposedly" helps to get the baby to drop/start labor (walking, squats, sex etc.) but now I am scheduled to be induced and bc I am only dilated to a fingertip I already expect a long labor. My big concern is that the baby hasn't dropped. He is small and I am definitly big enough for him to fit through, but for some reason he hasn't felt the urge, or possibly hasn't been able to get into position. For those of you whose baby hadn't dropped and you were in labor, did you have to push extra long? Did you have a c-section bc nothing happend? (Apparently I'm now at higher risk for that), did you manage to relax enough that even the baby dropped before the pushing phase? I want to know my own possibilities although I know I'll probably have my own unique story from this. Any of your stories will be appreciated/ words of encouragements for a possible csection (don't want one). Thanks!

Is this your first baby? If not, it's nrmal for the baby to not "drop" until just beofre labour.
With my 3rd baby he hadnt dropped and my cervix was still high, hard and completely closed when I had my internal on my due date. I went into labour naturally the next morning and had him after only 2 hours or labour. So anything is possible.
On the other hand, my first baby's head was engaged atleast 4 weeks before I had her, I went four days over, ended up being induced and was in labour for 36 hours! When it comes to labour its just so hard to predict.
