Where in Colorado Springs can I find a nice formal Army Ball gown?
My husband's unit is having a ball in November so I need to start looking for my dress. I know of the usual places such as David's Bridal but when I was wedding dress shopping I didn't like them very much. I need something that is formal as well as tasteful. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Do you guys have a Deb at your mall they have a lot of nice dresses. Also on most posts they offer a gown rental service (save some money) I've been to 2 military balls, both were very large, one was about 900 soldiers plus dates, the other was 2,000 plus dates. The thing I know about balls is don't over do it, both balls I've been to the dancing didn't start until 11pm because it was never ending speeches. Go to your local mall, and even ask your g/fs if you could borrow a dress. Unless your an officer's wife it isn't worth the money buying an expensive gown.
