To cover or not cover the tat?
I have a large tattoo on my upper arm that pretty much covers from elbow to shoulder. Do I cover it with make up for my wedding? I've been told the dermatologist has stuff for this so it looks natural but I'm afraid it won't and a tat showing is better than one that looks like it's been covered by make up. And, what about make up rubbing off on my dress or guests that hug me? Besides, it's totally me and most everyone that shows up knows me and knows that I have it. I like my tats but when it comes to being dressed up in a gown on my wedding day, pretty is important and the tat isn't pretty. It's great for jeans and t's but not a wedding dress! What do you guys think?!?!
Hey Coko, I was reading the question aboutthe ash blonde turning grey and as i scrolled down and read your answer I thought, yep that was exactly what I would have told her too.... so thanks for saving me the stress of answering that one lol ( I style too)... so then I checked your prof to see what other hair ?? you may have answered and I see the question asked... well lemme give ya my 2 cents. My sweet husband of 6 yrs is tatted all up, and I have a few visible ones along with my covered by clothes ones, and when our wedding was approaching I was concerned about the one over my heart and the other on the back of my right shoulder, so a fellow stylist friend of mine got me some "dermablend", I don't know where youre from, but mine came from Kauffman's, a department store, and it's an expensive brand like a prescriptives or lancome, etc, so you probably can find it at any fine department store, well long story short, I tried it , it worked so well, matched my skin tone and all, andthen the day of my wedding I said screw that, this is part of me and who I am, and I'm damn proud of the art that complements me, so I didnt cover it, and I'm happy I didnt, and my back looks so darn sexy with it in the wedding pics!... so don't compromise you, it's your day after all!
