How do I go about transplanting a Silver Dust Senecio plant? It's about 10in tall now and leaning too much
I wanted to plant it on the ground as a border, but I don't know if it will harm the plant to just cut part of the stem off and then plant the cutting straight into the ground. Then afterwards, will watering it be sufficient or do I need to add other stuff to help it flourish?
I live in Washington state, not far from Seattle. I figured this info will help me and you for any advice anyone can give me.

put rooting hormone powder on the cut end and plant in a miost, sharply draining medium indoors until it "takes." you don't want to stress your new cutting with harsh outdoor conditions until it has roots. you increase the liklihood of success by doing it the way i rec'd.
