Share your unique colored Western gown, themed (Gothic) gown, or traditional ethnic gown (colors, pictures, etc.)! I'm especially interested in traditional East Indian bridal wear, which I admire and think is gorgeous. Asian gowns in the traditional red are beautiful too.
My favorite Western wedding gown colors are baby pink or red.

It is a common misconception that white=virgin.White is just a popular bridal color since Queen Victoria started the trend in the 1800s. I was a virgin...and my gown was baby pink. I LOVED my gown! If you wear a colored gown, wear one because YOU want to. Wear whatever you like
My dress is a traditional wedding dress only the colour isn't white or ivory. It's a very faint pinkish peach colour.
I'm in love with the dress because it's just all around awesome. It's from a fancy shop Ireland and was previously worn by my aunt's ( aunt by marriage) sister on her wedding day. Both of us are the same size and colouring so it looks amazing on me.
Mom took me to a bridal salon because I at first wanted the white wedding dress. but all the dresses I put on made me look like the corpse bride. I'm a brownish blond and I have very little colour to my skin so all the white dresses made me look terrible. Tanning is not an option because it would make me look fake and my burn nurse father would kill me.
