Dangle Earrings

Its been 6 weeks and my ears feel fine.
However my right ear HAS bled 3 times. Whenever they bled it didnt hurt. The last time it bled was last week.
My friends however said i could switch to dangle earrings anyways long as its not too heavy.
-Can i switch?
-Do i still wash my ears everyday? (even after showers)
-How do you know if your earrings are too heavy?
(i tried holding and seeing if its too heavy but i cant tell) People tell me when i wear it and it feels like its being pulled down its TOO heavy but whatever i wear, it feels like its being pulled down so i still cant tell.
I dont think my earrings are THAT heavy which is why i cant tell if its heavy or not but i dont want my ear piercings to be a weird shape.
Is there a way i tell if my earrings are too heavy?
i dont think so. just let youre ear heal and once its feeling fine you can switch
