Prom .. should I go with my bestie and my high school sweet heart?

Ok, so my best friend asked me to dance like my junior year. at where I did not really speak to my ex friend (high school sweet heart). but during the summer we started to talk back and he asked who I was going to the ball and I tld my best friend. It was a bit nervous and as if I thought we went together. although din't ask first if what I do. I always wanted to go to the dance with him but it was too late. help

Go with your best friend ... it was late so he can go sulk in the corner ... you will never be repeated by someone who I asked at the end ...
