Any advice onto how to pin a costume tail to a dress?

My tail just droops and I can't seem to get it right...yet I know people are successful with this every Halloween. So any help? I'm going as a piggy bank and my boyfriend is a coin with a bunch of play money glued to him. Thanks in advance!

Use more than one safety pin. Or sew it on.

You might support a drooping tail with yarn or wire tied near the tail's end or middle, and the yarn or wire pinned or sewn to your dress, above the base of the tail
