What do i do to make my white closet curtains not plain?

i have very long white plain closet curtains.. is there anything i can do to make them look better..

Sew long strands of silk ribbon at the top of your curtains and cut the ribbon the length of the curtain. You can use any colour(s) you like and space them 4-6 inches apart. Or..you can tye dye your curtains for a funky retro look. If you have a sewing machine, you can dress them up with a couple of stripes of co ordinating material either at the bottom, or down the sides....or...you can sew a decorative stitch throughout the curtain, or just on the edges.
