Yes. The Blackhawks just snapped a 49-year Cup drought, and at the end of 43 they sucked and nobody expected them to win one anytime soon.
The Leafs finally have a GM that actually has a vision for the team he wants to build (instead of the preivous plan of "meh, just put together the best players available regardless of chemistry or logic", which NEVER wins championships). Within a few years, we'll be a contender.
