What could these symptoms mean: Nausea, thirst, an early and very long period, and very sensitive skin?
My girlfriend has these symptoms and is worried.
Her skin wouldn't be described as painful, but it is very sensitive and doesnt feel normal.
Also, her period has been early and is very long, and wasn't normal for the last few weeks of this abnormal episode. Only today it became a "normal" period.
Thanks!
Sounds simple, though it may just be a bad cold or the flu.
Anything can have an effect on a woman's period - even the smallest chemical change in her body can lead to a late period, or skipping it altogether. (lack of exercise, for example, or a change in diet) This could include any illness.
If you ignore the period symptom, it sounds like your average virus. I always get sensitive/painful skin when I'm coming down with something. Illnesses are pretty common around this time of year, so don't worry too much about it. Bed rest & plenty of fluids.
However, it may be a good idea to see a doctor, just to be certain. There may be some form of medication to relieve her symptoms as she recovers. No harm in checking, eh?
Hope this helped.
