How much should I expect to pay for a custom wedding dress and five bridesmaid dresses in the UK?
I am getting married soon and want to have my own personally designed custom wedding dress, with beading and lots of detail. I also want to get five bespoke bridesmaid dresses made as well. I'm not looking to pay for Vera Wang or anything but I was wondering how much should I expect to pay for the wedding gown and the five dresses in total? If anyone can help I would be really grateful as I need to plan my budget asap.
Sorry lipstick, but you are wrong. In the UK, brides are kind and generous enough to pay for their bridesmaids dresses!!
How plain are you planning on having your BM dresses? Because 5 plain ish custom made dresses could cost you about £100 each! Why not have a look around and see if you can find some ready made cheaper ones? How about Monsoon? They have a bridal section and their dresses are gorgeous!! If you are spending that amount, you might as well spend it there 
A highly beaded custom made dress will cost a LOT!! Possibly 4-500 pounds!! It all depends on where you are going to be honest, becuase everywhere will charge different amounts.
Bear in mind the credit crunch, though! Going for a custom made dress could cost MORE these days because prices are soaring!!
